The Pennywell, A Hilton Hotel is Hiring a Director of Finance Near St. Louis, MO
The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the financial and accounting operations of our esteemed hotel. Key focus areas include internal controls, balance sheet management, accounting processes, onboarding/training of finance staff, and labor management systems support.
As the Director of Finance, your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently managing and communicating cash flow-related issues, including the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements.
- Monitoring hotel revenues and expenses, ensuring compliance with established guidelines, and conducting budget analyses.
- Ensuring the hotel's compliance with regulatory licenses, leases, contracts, and operational taxes.
- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for maintaining financial objectives.
- Overseeing standard accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, and audits.
- Hiring, training, supervising, and developing finance staff.
- Directing the preparation of various financial reports according to set deadlines.
- Collaborating with the Executive Committee to ensure smooth property operations.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- At least 5 years of hospitality finance/accounting experience, preferably in a Controller or Director of Finance role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel-specific systems.
- Experience supervising two or more employees.
